A Summer Rainbow of Modern Music
Don't forget to book your tickets for the Concordia Chamber Choir's midsummer concert on Saturday June 24th.
We've got an eclectic menu of wonderful music, both spiritual and secular. In the former category, the programme includes Jonathan Dove's modern classic Missa Brevis and John Rutter's lyrical setting of O Be Joyful in the Lord. In the latter, we feature some famous old folk-songs, now rearranged in contemporary settings, such as Bobby Shaftoe and What Shall We Do With The Drunken Sailor?
Like Ascot, Henley and Wimbledon, the Concordia Summer Concert is now an established part of the social season. Around the South Circular anyway. We look forward to seeing you.
The performance is at 7:30 pm on Saturday 24th June 2017 at All Saints’ Church, Lovelace Rd, SE21 8JY. Tickets cost £12 at the door, or £11 in advance from www.concordiachamberchoir.co.uk. Concessions (students and those on means tested benefits) half price.
