Top acts try out new material...
There was Micky Flanagan, Andrew Bird, Alan Francis, Daniel Kitson, Inder Manocha,Steve Day - MCed by Charmian Hughes.
It was fascinating, funny and only 3. And fanks to all forumers who pitched up - Aw shucks, you're helping to make this a special wee night.

Saturday Night Stand-Up Comedy




Chambers and Netttleton, 'Comedy double act, divine and funny' - Time Out, compere.
First up is Kerry Godliman - described by Chortle in 2005 as 'the one to watch,' she has since gone on to star in Channel 4 sketch show Spoons.Go with this charismatic whirlwind of a comic as she grapples with the mysteries and mundanities of everyday mayhem.
Winner of the 2007 Laughing Horse New Act of the Year is Daniel Rigby- 'Wonderful...smart, original stuff' - Chortle.
This week's headliner and top of the shop turn is, 8 Out Of 10 Cats regular, Dave Johns - 'few comics play the amiable buffoon quite as well...an outstanding comic' - Chortle.
'Look closely you will see the man generate sparks of magic' - The List - Edinburgh
'He shifts from the sublime, to genius, to uproar, in the blink of an eye...extremely entertaining' - The Guardian



9/6. 9pm. Bar till 2am

Some have done a hundred gigs or more and some haven't.
When we did this night at the EDT Al Murray, Ross Noble and Boothby Graffoe pitched up
Some of these are the future of comedy and some may not be.
