Saturday Night Stand-Up Comedy

Firing the starting pistol this Saturday is your compere Marian Pashley whose 'Soft Northern charm belies a certain biting edge' - Chortle.
Kung Fu expert Danny Buckler is first out of the blocks. His unique style combines stand-up, impro, impressions, story-telling, and magic. He's already had his own Channel 4 Special 'Danny Does Tricks' -
'A real find, everyone should look out for him'- BBC Radio London.
Carrying the baton after the first break is Lou Sanders. We unearthed Lou at our last New Act Night. She made us laugh that much we've given her a 10 spot on our sterling Saturday Night Show.
Steve Mould runs the bend leg. He has a Master's Degree in physics from Oxford and has guest presented on Blue Peter, doing the science bits - Fortunately he's managed to overcome those hurdles and has transmogrified into a fine stand-up instead.
'Classy, fresh, funny ideas skilfully executed. Performed with a sly wit' - Chortle.
'Full of witty leftfield ideas' - The Guardian.
'Very funny' - Frank Skinner.
Storming up the finishing straight to gold (medal)lion glory is headliner Simon Brodkin as chav charmer Lee Nelson.
A sharp, credible and fantastically funny character...solid gold material...fresh and exciting' - Chortle.
'The funniest new act I've seen in years' - Harry Hill.
'A prodiguous talent, Brodkin could well become a household name' - The Times.
'Genius' - The Independent On Sunday.
He's a core cast member on Al Murray's new sketch show ' Al Murray's Multiple Personality Disorder' - ITV 1. And you can catch him here first at The HOB still all box-fresh and buffed.

A chance to see headline act Ben Norris do a full hour long show in an intimate setting. After two appearences on Mock The Week last year and the airing of his second Comedy Store appearence on the Paramount Comedy channel Ben has released his first stand up CD on the Comedy Store label. A sought after headline act all over the circuit Ben has a reputation for high quality material and an enviable ability to play with ideas in the room and create the funnies from thin air. Don't miss him....

'The person who really makes me laugh is a comedian called Ben Norris.
