Love West Dulwich Christmas Fair

The Love West Dulwich Christmas Fair is back and will take place on Park Hall Road, Croxted Road and Rosendale Road on Saturday 26th November from 10am to 4pm.

It promises to be a wonderful way to support our lovely local community and get your Christmas shopping all wrapped up, whilst enjoying a fun day out for all the family.

Across West Dulwich there will be:
- Special in-store activities for all the family to take part in;
- Santa's Grotto and face painting at Wigwam Toy Shop;
- A visit from Miss Christmas;
- Christmas decoration workshop at the dulwich trader;
- The Rosendale Road Market: stalls include art & prints, crafts, handmade jewellery, baby & children's clothing, cakes, textiles,and much more;
- Mulled wine and craft beer hut at The Rosendale Pub;
- Pulled pork and homemade sausages from Scotch Meats;
- Children's story time at Dulwich Books;
- Live entertainment on Croxted and Rosendale Roads from local choirs and GDND Street Dancers.

In addition to this, many local independent businesses, including Dulwich Bakery and Jaadu, will be running unique family friendly events and promotions throughout the day. More details will be announced closer to the date.

A quick update on what some of our lovely local shops and businesses will be doing at our Christmas Fair. Activities include:

- Santa's Grotto and face painting at Wigwam Toy Shop;
- Christmas decoration workshop at the dulwich trader;
- Children’s story time at Dulwich Books;
- Mehndi henna painting at Jaadu;
- Mulled wine and craft beer hut at The Rosendale Pub;
- The Rosendale Road Market: stalls include art & prints, crafts, handmade jewellery, baby & children's clothing, cakes, textiles and much more. Charity stalls include L'Arche, West Dulwich Girl Guides, All Saints West Dulwich and Foodbank (sponsored by KFH Estate Agents);
- Christmas tunes spun by the Rainbow Smiles DJ outside Changes Hair Salon;
- Children's treasure hunt around West Dulwich, starting at Dulwich Books;
- Children's lucky dip at Petermans.

Plus, the following in store promotions:
- Dulwich Bakery: Buy a mince pie, get a mulled wine free;
- Thomas’: 10% discount on sports goods over £10 on the day;
- Alleyn Park Garden Centre: Pre-order & pay for a Christmas tree for 10% off + free local delivery;
- Scotch Meats: Serving pulled pork baps & sausages;
- Oddbins: Serving mulled wine and Christmas cocktails.

Just a post to say that this was such a lovely day, big thank you to everyone involved in organizing!

It was a little disappointing to be in Polished Boutique recently though to hear the staff complaining to clients about the fair and all sorts of community events. Grumbling that these sort of things just involve kids screaming outside all day which they find very disruptive etc, they came across very mean spirited!! I assume they don't wish to be involved, shame.
