Not for profit commpany looking for nature volunteers

Lambeth based not for profit Embrace Cooperation Ltd (company website www.myembrace.org, environmental projects blog website embraceenvironment.wordpress.com ) are looking for volunteers to help on nature conservation / gardening projects in South London.

The volunteers will help with project practical events (both public and tailor made events for youth/community groups and schools), on a new environmental education / nature conservation project working in Lambeth, Southwark, Bexley & other areas in South London.

The successful applicants will gain valuable work experience and an insight in helping run a community environmental conservation project practical activities.

The volunteer will take part in practical nature conservation activities, the activities will take place on mainly weekdays but some activities may be on weekends.

The project will include the following events:

Wildlife Surveys / Walks
Glade Maintenance
Tailor-made events for young people & general public
Garden Maintenance & design

The volunteer’s role will be tailor made to when they are available and which areas of the project they wish to be involved in.

Embrace can pay volunteers travel expenses.
