I recently moved here to look after my grandsons, hence the name, and I'm looking to meet up with quizzers. I love doing the odd pub quiz, and have a broad general knowledge, but don't know people yet to go to the pub with! Also have no idea where said events might be. Any suggestions happily received

Try the pub quiz on Tuesdays from about 8 o'clock at The Mansion which is just off the Paxton Green roundabout, bottom of Gipsy Hill.
It's very friendly and the quizmaster David is very welcoming. I've often seen people doing the quiz there on their own, but go along and I'm sure it won't be long before you make a few friends. He tends not to do sports questions, which is great for the girls - mainly general knowledge with a picture round. Occasionally he'll do a music quiz. Fee £2.00 per person
