Football stuff

Anyone else going to the Manchester Derby on the 16th for the semi-final at Wembley? To say that I am excited is an understatement. Haven't been to Wembley since the Free Nelson Mandela Concert. What's the new stadium like?

Any Man. United/City supporters out there?

Many questions, I know...:))

Oh, and while I'm at it, did anyone watch the Man. United v West Ham match on Saturday? What a game!

What are you so negative about? Football isn't everyone's cup of tea or stiff gin.

So Rooney could get banned now for using foul language. It seems a bit harsh given it's probably the normal industrial language he uses daily anyway. I thought the TV stations had a responsibility to protect their audience before watershed time? They could have a 10 second time delay in transmission to allow them avoid the naughty bits. Or they could avoid having a mike so near a player. Can't help feeling if that was a different player at a different club he would be treated differently. He should tell the FA to FO and threaten to retire from international football. Perhaps they then might go more easy on him like they did Shearer when he was around.

Similar roots I suppose, you could say. Good luck to Spurs tonight.

You mean you are a vegetable? (I'll get my coat...).

I'll be cheering on Real Madrid. Buena suerte Los Blancos!

I reckon Spurs will get a hammering!
